How to be a Super Dad
By Dean Beaty 5/4/10
It’s really not that hard to be a super dad.
You only need more wisdom than Solomon ever had.
When it comes to basketball and trophies they’re awardin’.
He has so many more than that piker Michael Jordan.
His driving is a skill, in fact a real art.
He taught it all you know to a fellow named Earnhardt.
When it comes to baseball for no matter where he plays.
He puts them all to shame including Willie Mays.
When hunting he gets his limit because of his great skill.
He use to ride and shoot with both Buffalo and Wild Bill.
He gave up the Olympics so others could win the gold.
Fort Knox was running short if the real truth was told.
He walked across the desert, which was a tricky feat.
Cactus and Road Runners were all he had to eat.
One time he swam the ocean just to see the other side.
He led Clark’s expedition as his faithful native guide.
He’ll never speak of all he’s done because he isn’t proud.
But being over eight feet tall, he stands out in any crowd.
He strolls down arm in arm and never cries that day.
Walking proudly down the aisle to give his little girl away.
